ANITA MENZIES

Anita has a background in Architecture, Law, Project Management and Commercial Asset Management. During her time as Head of Commercial Property she reformed the commercial property division of one of Auckland’s largest property management firms. She studied Architecture and Law at The University of Auckland and is a Barrister and Solicitor. She is excellent in providing a strategic path for complex issues and is focused on getting things done right the first time. She established Aamsko consulting bringing together a group of consultants who all have a united goal, which is to serve the commercial property industry with a higher standard of excellence. Legal strategy and remediating commercial buildings with complex structural or weathertightness issues are her main areas of interest. Mitigating risks in any venture and strategically resolving disputes for her clients best interest is what motivates her. Thanks to her Architectural background, she’s able to understand building design and function which she is able to utilise in all areas of strategic consulting. A strong affinity with concrete buildings and their construction allows her to identify solutions to complex weathertightness problems, some of which prior to her consulting had failed to be resolved for over twenty years.

As a specialist property consultant, Aidan has worked with some of the country’s largest infrastructure organisations, including Vodafone, 2Degrees and the rural Connectivity Group (RCG), adding to their property portfolio strategy and helping them to acquire assets. Aidan is an expert negotiator of Sale & Purchase Agreements, Agreements to Lease and Property Supplier Service Agreements. He is experienced project management of capital works such as water leak remediation. Aidan is also Operations Director for Zenith Facilities Services our remediation arm specialising in commercial and high rise leaky building, waterproofing, external envelope and cladding projects.
CHARLES SENEVIRATNE

Charles holds a Fellowship at the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, along with a Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of the United Kingdom. He also holds a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Waikato. Negotiating funds with banks and with other stakeholders is where Charles excels. He has a robust background in financial consulting in areas involving fast-moving consumer goods, education, retirement, religion, and engineering. He has worked with Woolworths, Foodstuffs, Coles Supermarkets (AUS), Anglican Diocese Auckland and also Ngāti Whātua-o-Ōrākei. His skill and experience is diverse and capable. In his management accounting practice, he likes to focus on business process management. His goal is always to provide cost reduction with improved quality of delivery. He has an exclusive Australasian partnership with John Keels Group, one of the largest conglomerates in South Asia. The group services John Keels supermarkets, Heritage luxury hotel properties and a variety of businesses.
ANDY XU

BUILDABILITY CONSULTANT
As a Licensed Building Practitioner, Andy has worked with some of New Zealand’s largest construction organisations, including Hawkings Commercial and CMP. Eddie brings with him excellent knowledge of building techniques and construction strategy making sure that all our commercial remedial including capital works and water leak remediation projects are always compliant under the Building Act 2004 and the Building Code. He is also an excellent site manager for all complex remediation projects ensuring that our projects establish buildability and constructability during the design stage, allowing us to comprehensively deliver all projects.

MARKETING CONSULTANT
Anna is an exceptional academic, she achieved top 2% in the International Baccalaureate Examinations. Anna’s short film The State is a Lady has been translated into six languages and won acclaim at film and video art festivals across Europe, India and North America. She is a former NZ Digital Art Awards Finalist. She holds a wealth of media and graphic expertise from her experience working for production house Kasbah Films in Morocco and for German fiction and documentary filmmakers. Anna’s marketing and digital experience is a valuable asset to any property portfolio.
GEORGIA WAUGH

ASSOCIATE PROJECT CONSULTANT
Georgia, is an Architectural graduate from the University of Auckland. She has a deep focus on design, sustainability, project management, and architectural history. Her academic pursuits are underpinned by a genuine passion for architectural academia and research, through which she seeks to deepen her understanding and appreciation of the built environment. Throughout her academic career, she enjoyed a diverse range of projects, from intimate pavilions to ambitious public housing developments, always with the goal of making a positive impact on both the built environment and its inhabitants. She is well-versed in computer software and CAD programs, Georgia skilfully uses these tools to create detailed drawings and models that bring our building investigation projects to life, aiding in the visualization of complex remedial concepts. Today her focus is to use her skill and architectural knowledge to transform the practice of building remediation projects, while encouraging our team to foster sustainable remediation principles.
REYHAN RIYAZ
Architectural Technology (Level 6)
ARCHITECTURAL DESIGNER
Reyhan holds a National Diploma in Architectural Technology (Level 6). He looks after Aamsko’s design and drafting needs for commercial remediation projects. Reyhan manages drawings from conceptual plans to creating full sets of plans for Council submission for consenting, as well as construction documents including production of as built set of plans.
